2. Personal data we process
When you email us: we process the email address and any name, company, role, message, attachments or other information you choose to include. This website does not currently contain a contact form.
When you visit the website: the hosting service may generate technical logs needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. Depending on the hosting configuration, these may include an IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device information and referring page.
Please do not include sensitive personal data in an initial business enquiry unless it is necessary.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to an enquiry and discussing a potential engagement: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); otherwise, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and managing prospective business relationships (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Operating, protecting and troubleshooting the website: our legitimate interest in keeping the website available, secure and reliable (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Meeting legal obligations or handling legal claims: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) or our legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)), as applicable.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests are balanced against your rights and freedoms. You may object as described below.
5. Retention and security
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and manage reasonable follow-up. We then delete it unless retention is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical logs are retained only for as long as needed for website operation, security and troubleshooting, subject to the hosting provider’s log-retention configuration.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limits in applicable law, you may ask us to:
- provide access to your personal data and information about its processing;
- correct inaccurate data or erase data;
- restrict processing or, where applicable, provide data in a portable format;
- stop processing based on our legitimate interests by objecting to it.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. We do not use this website for automated decisions or profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Email requests to igor.skibickij@refined.sk. We will respond within one month, subject to any lawful extension or other requirements under the GDPR.
You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, or with another competent supervisory authority where the GDPR permits.
